Being the youngest of 5 and the only daughter, I had a ton of rules to live up to!😑

Yes!!! It was just me and my older brother so it was strict rules for me! Lol

I’m the youngest and there was a period when I was reprimanded for things my sister had already done.. so I had no chance to even try to mess up! I think that made me somewhat of a perfectionist, but there is no feeling of needing to measure up.

I completely understand. I felt the same with my older brother. It’s like our parents got bit once so they know not to let it happen again.

I’m the oldest and I feel the pressure that most feel as a younger sibling. I didn’t take the same life path as my little sister and she ended up much more successful in life than I did. There’s a sort of shame and embarrassment that I’ve felt over the years about that. I know life takes people down different paths and its not healthy to compare – but that’s how its been for me.

I completely understand and I get it. I feel my brother and I feel that pressure as being a man and woman too.
