Motivational Monday: Do you uplift your friends?

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a good weekend.

I chose this topic to chat about because self-love is a major key, but the people that are close to us have an impact on our lives as well. We spend quality time with our friends, many are a part of our support system, therefore uplifting should take place.

Personally, I can say that I have different circles of friends. The circles are from different chapters in my life and all of them have a Significant place in my heart. In fact, with all that has taken place in my life for the past 9 years, I would be in a dark depressive state without my support system.

We can uplift one another in various ways. For example, I have different chats with friends, social media groups, we verbally communicate our goals/life experiences, we are accountability partners and shows support for each other in our own way.

If your friend has a business or is starting a SM platform, a great way to support is obviously buying the product or to spread the news in any way that you can. No one has the right to tell anyone what to spend their money on or what to post on their SM but when we do share, it’s exciting because we are seeing the early stages of our friends winning. Your friend will appreciate any level of support that you offer because it’s confirmation that you believe in their cause.

I always believed that if One of my friends win, we all win. I also have faith that if God can provide for one, He will provide for me. The positive energy of a friend’s good news can spark a fire into our lives. It’s a deep impact that I believe many don’t always embrace due to jealousy and envy. We all have our turn, but in the meantime, we should uplift our friend(s) to keep going to get what’s needed to better themselves.

Shout out to my support system (which is my family, church family, and coworkers too) for uplifting me. Life is difficult at times and we are capable of taking the wrong turn here and there. However, with the love and support from you all, it’s Easy to not give up! I love you all ♥️

  1. I agree that without your support system one can fall into a dark state. Many times one can feel alone and helpless in their troubles and issues. However, knowing you can call your friend’s or relatives 2, 3 in the morning or them reaching out to you gives comfort and reassurance that you are loved and needed.
Always support one another! I love that feeling that I even support strangers in their winnings! YES!

    • Yes to all of this! Thank you for your comment. I hear you on the support of strangers. Truth be told, I’ve found new connections come from strangers. We are people and the need for support always helps us for healing too.
