Peace….. Happiness

So much weighs on our minds.

Too much weighs on our hearts.

For many of us, we have to take everything that we deal with, one day at a time.

All the tasks aren’t getting done due to us being overwhelmed with the many distractions that get in the way.

How do we overcome this? How do we find balance? How do we find happiness? My suggestion is to get Peace first.

Having peace is vital and it can help us see the “BIG” picture clearer. We could possibly find solutions to things that are problematic. With Peace comes Acceptance and Happiness will follow not too far behind. Have you struggled with finding happiness? Do you believe you have peace in your life? I’m working on it and pray to get there one day! I hope the same for you all as well.

The weather

As a child, I never quite understood how older people could tell it was going to rain or when they said “It’s cold, I can feel it in my bones”. It’s funny how life happens because now I say similar things!

Since being diagnosed with MS, my body lets me know if the humidity is high, if it will rain, and if the temperature is very cold. I experience leg weakness during this time, numbness in toes and sometimes very painful nerve pain. As I type this post, my left big toe is curing numb and I’m having nerve pain in both legs. It really sucks.

However, the show has to still go on. On days like this, I still have to be wifey, mommy and assistant supervisor at work. I pray to God for strength, as tears may flow down my cheeks and slowly get it together. I know there are others who experience this and more. There are other warriors with physical ailments and mental issues that can be thrown off due to the weather.

When it rains, it pours. I wish, I could cut back some of the storms, but unfortunately that can’t happen and that’s Life. How we choose to manage IS up to us.

We can let the weather take over us and our spirit or we can dance in the rain and view the rainbow that follows.

Better>Bitter

The past few weeks, I’ve observed negativity amongst people. I wasn’t involved but if I were, I’d tell the individuals to be BETTER not BITTER.

I’ve come to a realization that getting Bitter or getting “even” with folks requires so much energy. If I’m going to use any energy aka spoons (spoonies standup!), it needs to be serving a real purpose not for meaningless drama. Life is short, we all KNOW this but still continue to waste time.

If there is anything that I can leave with you all today it is to : BE BETTER because we all KNOW better.

Take Care friends, thanks for reading!

Take a Breather…

Hi Friends!

With all the hustle and bustle that we all have going on, sometimes we have to remember to slow down. When we are constantly on the go, with no pauses, it can bring out a lot of anxiety. Therefore, take a breather or a moment to woooo saaaa!

Just Keep Swimming

Sometimes, the tears overflow from being overwhelmed with pain and numbness caused by MS. Feeling of dizziness, dragging my left leg around, has become the new “norm”.

No matter how much I cry, I have to keep moving. Just like in the movie, “Finding Dory” we have to “just keep swimming, just keep swimming”.

We are strong friends. We will claim victory. We don’t have to give up or give in. We got this!! Keep Going!

It’s another chapter

Hi, great people,
Trust me, I know all about pain, heartache, disappointment and feeling low. The truth is, it can get better. Try your best to not stay in the whole that life has thrown you in. Even if you dig yourself into that whole, you can definitely dig yourself out.
Ways to get out of the hole

  1. Bring positivity into your life.
  2.  Join a support group.
  3. Keep a journal.
  4. Get counseling.
  5. Last but not least, prayer and meditation.

The things listed above can help. I hope and pray that what you are dealing with can be seen as just another chapter not as the final chapter. You got this!!

Love,

It’s much Greater

Hi, great people!

On yesterday, I was in a really funky mood. I wasn’t feeling the best, money was acting funny, and it was chilly lol! However, as the day went on, I was in better spirits. Isn’t that life? Don’t we have those moments when we just feel like everything is going wrong, but yet things turn out right?
Battling Multiple Sclerosis, has truly humbled my spirit. I don’t take any day for granted. I appreciate the fight in me. I realize that God has given this journey to me for a reason. My Purpose will Always be Greater. I do feel that I can Motivate, Inspire and Support anyone who is in need.
The same goes for you. Your strength, the works that you do, your drive, your passion is Greater than the struggle you are dealing with. Things will get better, You will get better!
