We have so many belief systems in regards to what being strong is or what it looks like. Does it represent a physical feature or is it mental? Who in your life is representing Strength? Did they have an influence on your outlook on Strength? Let’s hear it friends 😊
We all like what we like and want what we want, but does it make you feel good at your core or just the surface?
Have you had a rough day and decided to splurge at your favorite store? Purchased the new Jordan 1’s or even eat a 5 course meal at an exclusive restaurant? It feels good to release those emotions, but how long does it last? You still end up with the same sadness, pain and frustration.
When we don’t have true happiness within our hearts or at our core, none of it truly matters. We need to dig deep for happiness and not just at surface level. I hope that resonates with us all. Happy Wednesday!
We can’t assume that it came easy or free! Many of these people are living the life that we want to have but it took blood, sweat and tears to get there. These people failed many times, received one rejection after the other but didn’t give up.
Has this been you? Have you had a moment when you saw the CEO and their car? Or maybe that power couple on the ultimate baecation. Yes, it’s all beautiful and achievable. Just remember, what’s for you is for you and your time WILL come.
Continue to work hard so that you can play hard! Don’t give in and don’t give up!
Never saw a tree like this in Long Island. I thought they were mainly in the south. I guess I’ve been under a rock lol 🤣. Taking the time to admire its beauty during “fall” temps, gave me a sense of calmness. The way the leaves swayed as if it had its own dance moves gave me peace. To think the amount of storms the tree went through but it’s still standing strong. Lately, I have not been feeling my best (up and down with weather change/post partum body changes) but like this tree, I know I have to still show up and stay strong. I hope you can too my friends. Not every day we are super strong, but you continue to keep going, you got this 💪🏾.
While being in the third trimester of pregnancy, I’m exhausted, my body changes are starting to catch up and I’m almost at the point of being “done”. My fellow preggies Know what “Done” mean during that final stretch of pregnancy LOL.
During moments alone, I reflect on my reasons for continuing to strive for excellence. No matter what, I always divert back to my “why?” which is my Family. With the addition of another little person on the way, I don’t have room to give up or to lose.
What about you? When you start to have doubts, what is your “why?” that puts things back into perspective? Whatever it may be, never lose it. Keep it close to your heart so that on days when you feel like giving up or having doubts, it can pull you out of the hole.
Do whatever it takes. There are many ways to keep focus on what means the world to you. You can write it down in a journal, record a personal voice memo, create a vision board, the options are endless friends. You got this!
Hi all! I hope all is well for you and your families during this holiday season. I know many are ready for the festivities but also looking forward to what the new year may bring.
I had a chat with one of my friends about Goals that we want to achieve but some way or the other, we have not achieved them yet. Now, for many this could be devastating or even leave a person in a dark place, but I’m here to say: CHILL OUT with those thoughts.
I know it sounds like a broken record or even like the voice of Charlie Brown’s teacher to many of you when someone says to chill out when you’re feeling down. Life is a journey and we are going to experience bumps and detours. However, if we Know where we want to travel to, nothing can stop us even if we make pit-stops.
Please don’t quit on your goals. As I say this to you, I’m also reminding myself of the same. You got this, I got this, WE got this. Let’s go!!!! 😊
Let’s keep this as a reminder. Kids have their OWN identity. They learn different, move at their own pace and have interest they may differ from yours. Encourage them, concentrate on their gifts vs their shortcomings. Thanks! From a fellow parent 😁
Happy Motivational Monday! Through this journey… this is One of the BIGGEST lessons that I’m learning. I wear my heart on my sleeve, I dont take criticism well, I don’t like the feeling of rejection and more.
I’m not proud of these traits but they are apart of me. What I’m beginning to understand is that i DON’T need to take the little things personally. Someone doesn’t like a post? Cool. Someone gave a critique that I didn’t want to hear? Cool.
What I needed to understand is that I can learn from all of those experiences. Guess what friends? So can you! If you’re like me, this is no simple task, however, You are more than what lies on the surface. You are NOT a failure. The BEST of your story hasn’t been told yet! Hold on dear friends, we are in this together!
