I hope everyone enjoyed their thanksgiving day and time spent with those who matter. Just remember that there are many who wish to have half of what you have.

Every day, we are given daily reminders of how cruel and ugly things of this world are. When I was a child, my parents shielded from some things and let me be a child. Now, with the advancement of our youth, it’s hard to NOT explain to them the cruelness that awaits them. I’m saddened that I have to express to my son that to some people he will be considered a menace, some may be jealous, friends will stab you in the back, employment will expect you to work extra hard against your counterparts, and I can go on. However, I can’t focus only on the ugliness. There IS beauty.
Beauty is in the eye of a baby, who is precious and pure. The laughter of children on a playground that gives so much joy to an adult heart. The genuine love and support from your loved ones. The butterfly feeling you get from your significant other. The feeling of inner peace when you pray or meditate in your calm place. That feeling of goodness after helping those who are less fortunate.
The world isn’t perfect, especially the people living in it. We have to decide how we choose to live. Do we want to concentrate only on the ugly? Or could we make things less tainted and paint a better picture? Something to seriously think about, especially now.

Like most things in life, it’s important to choose your battles to fight. Just because some may not be agreeable to you doesn’t mean you have to open your mouth. I also believe that having peace in your life is good for your well being.
Hang in there friends. Stay strong. Relief is on the way.

This is my view from our room in Nassau Bahamas. I must say that it is absolutely beautiful. Things in my life have been such a roller coaster and I’m so happy to share some time alone with Stephen. It’s times like this when you realize that you do have to regroup and recharge yourself mentally, spiritually and emotionally. The peacefulness of the waters offers that alone.
Enjoy your Friday everyone and Feel Good!
It’s moments like this when I truly sit back and give thanks. While being away I felt an urge of peace take over my heart and makes me very happy. The mountains of Utah are breathtaking and I enjoyed every moment.
Many of us are like the energizer bunny, we keep going and going…
Between family, career, friends we are constantly busy. The older you get more and more weekends seem to be filled with events that you must attend.
When do you take the time to slow down? When do you stop to have “me” time? It’s important to have personal time because it balances us. Suggestions could be:
Exercising, reading a book, going for a walk, meditation/prayer time etc…
Give yourself time to reboot for a peace of mind during your busy lifestyle.
Do you need some rebooting?
