Create your Own Story

Hi friends!

I know it’s been a while since I’ve blogged, but please know that I have missed being present and your presence!

One of the last videos that I did was in reference to our Story not being finished yet and that it’s only a chapter. To piggyback off of that, we NEED to focus on creating our OWN Story.

In Romantic relationships, many of us watch romantic movies or hear love songs and we think about wanting that happily ever after. We view our family dynamics, judge our friends’ relationships and are eager for all those great experiences to become ours.

We are taught during High school to attend college for a better future and then feel defeated when life doesn’t play out that way. So much pressure of what “success” is suppose to look like in our lives doesn’t always equal how we are living.

We need to create our Own love stories and our Own Success stories. What worked for some may not work for you. Be patient, go at your own pace. The work that you put into a relationship or your work is what the universe will bring back out. Find Peace and Happiness within yourselves and go from there.

I hope this post helps and I hope we all can have peace and happiness in our own personal journeys. Thanks for reading!

Motivational Monday: the Sunrise

Happy Motivational Monday friends!

I know Mondays can come in tough especially when we had a busy weekend and a pending busy work week ahead. I, too, have to really push myself as well but today was different.

I over slept today, had to rush to get my son ready for preschool and as we were waiting for his bus, I saw the sunrise. It was at that moment that I picked him up to view it as well. Now, I know you may be thinking what’s so special about that? It’s special because I haven’t been feeling well.

Ever since the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, my left leg has been on and off weak, I’ve been experiencing nerve pain in the left side of my head and a new recent issue with my ear. I have not been able to HOP out of the bed, I’ve needed walking assistance during the first steps after getting out of the bed. Also, as I held my son watching the beautiful sky, I realized that I haven’t been able to hold him for that length of time the past couple of weeks. Therefore, I immediately thanked God.

As a Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Warrior, I have to be grateful for those moments because the disease is unpredictable. I’ll feel great now then a hour later, it can go down hill again. On today though, I had another chance at Life. Just as the Sunrises, I know many are fighting their lives just to see that and I won’t take that for granted. I’m here for a reason, another opportunity to succeed while the sunrises for my soul. If you’re reading this, you too had another opportunity at the hustle and bustle of life.

Friends, I hope you have a wonderful week, I’m grateful for your support and I’m here to support you as well!

Motivational Monday: Do you uplift your friends?

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a good weekend.

I chose this topic to chat about because self-love is a major key, but the people that are close to us have an impact on our lives as well. We spend quality time with our friends, many are a part of our support system, therefore uplifting should take place.

Personally, I can say that I have different circles of friends. The circles are from different chapters in my life and all of them have a Significant place in my heart. In fact, with all that has taken place in my life for the past 9 years, I would be in a dark depressive state without my support system.

We can uplift one another in various ways. For example, I have different chats with friends, social media groups, we verbally communicate our goals/life experiences, we are accountability partners and shows support for each other in our own way.

If your friend has a business or is starting a SM platform, a great way to support is obviously buying the product or to spread the news in any way that you can. No one has the right to tell anyone what to spend their money on or what to post on their SM but when we do share, it’s exciting because we are seeing the early stages of our friends winning. Your friend will appreciate any level of support that you offer because it’s confirmation that you believe in their cause.

I always believed that if One of my friends win, we all win. I also have faith that if God can provide for one, He will provide for me. The positive energy of a friend’s good news can spark a fire into our lives. It’s a deep impact that I believe many don’t always embrace due to jealousy and envy. We all have our turn, but in the meantime, we should uplift our friend(s) to keep going to get what’s needed to better themselves.

Shout out to my support system (which is my family, church family, and coworkers too) for uplifting me. Life is difficult at times and we are capable of taking the wrong turn here and there. However, with the love and support from you all, it’s Easy to not give up! I love you all ♥️

Be Productive

Happy Monday friends!

For many, Monday symbolizes the start of the work week. We have to hustle and bustle to meet deadlines etc.. however, sometimes the Monday blues brings us into a slump. We may feel lazy and unaccomplished.

I, too, get into a slump and often feel overwhelmed. I try to remind myself that I’m not perfect and if I at least try to complete something for the day, then I was productive.

As a MS patient, getting out of the bed can be a challenging task. Some days I truly run out of spoons (spoon theory) because I don’t have the energy. Therefore, I try to keep a positive attitude and do the best that I can.

That’s all we can do. Try to conquer a goal for the day. That can be smiling when someone gives a good morning greeting, take a walk for break, exercise, begin the starting steps to owning your business, and more! Whatever it is and what ever it takes, just try.

I hope this helps someone. Remember, we are in this life journey together. There are others who feel just like you do. I’m here.

Blind Faith

Keeping the faith when you can’t see the end result. We are visual creatures and are skeptical if we are told the dream, but don’t see the success in the palm of our hands. That’s when blind faith Steps In.

Blind Faith.. A necessity with any phase of life. We need it for our families, our relationships and career. I believe that we have a blueprint set for us and we will endure the challenges/turmoil along the way, but keeping that blind faith is what can help us succeed.

Is this easy to grasp? NOPE! Is it worth it? Yes. Hold on Friends, we WILL make it. We WILL Win! We got this!

Our time is Approaching!

Happy Friday friends!

Have you ever had this feeling deep inside that things are starting to get better even after you recently faced a tough hurdle? That’s how I’ve been feeling.

Lately, I’ve been so stressed out because of student loan debt, the urgency of wanting to be a home owner and more! What keeps me going is knowing that I’m not alone. I have my family and friends to lean on during these times and that is a major key for my sanity lol!!

I can’t lie and say not to worry because it’s human nature, however, I will say Keep BELIEVING! Your time is coming, My time is coming, OUR TIME IS COMING! Don’t give up, Don’t Give in!

Two major ingredients for your success

Patience and Understanding are two ingredients needed for success in your life. This can be in your faith, relationships, parenting, and career paths.

Patience, as we all know is a Virtue. It does not come easy for most of us. We want things quick and easy, but that’s just not possible if you want things to blossom into beautiful results. Just like a rose garden, plant the seeds, nourish them with water, pray for plenty of sun and then slowly but surely, roses will sprout! We have to remind ourselves that the wait will be worth it.

Understanding is key as well. We need to know the goal and all it entails. Understand your position is and others around you that play a role. What’s everyone’s state of mind and abilities? Having compassion, empathy can help with the process of your Success.

What are you thoughts friends? Do you think Patience and Understanding are needed for Success in many aspects of life? Speak on it below ☺️
